The MELAMINE Melochem we use complies with the compositional requirements needed by the Regulation 10/2011 / EC concerning materials intended to come into contact with food. The material is durable, robust, resistant to solvents and acids and sterilizable, therefore reusable. Melamine resembles plastic but it is not plastic: it can be defined as a sustainable material, as it is a BPA-free thermosetting resin, i.e. free of bisphenol, and does not derive from hydrocarbons. It is not porous, it inhibits the growth and presence of bacteria, viruses and fungal substances and is non-deformable. Usually used in the food sector with products such as plates, cups and glasses. It is now also suitable for sanitary use with instrument trays and other devices in the dental sector. It can be sterilized at 121°C or with cycle B at 135°C. It does not break, does not deteriorate and does not deform.
