We have finally obtained certifications for the R66, R4 visors, and R58 glasses as PPE CAT II (two), while other visors, R62, R68, PV1, already had CAT II (two) certification.
These PPE were previously validated by INAIL. In recent months, we worked to comply with PPE standards as we knew the INAIL validation would expire after the emergency.
With a specific decree, the extraordinary INAIL validation has ceased due to sufficient PPE availability certified by appropriate entities.
To obtain certifications, we had to pass tests on robustness, transparency, and width.
The R66 visor is now wider, thicker (0.375mm instead of 0.250mm), with a new attachment system for stability and a strap to fix it to the head. The material remains polycarbonate.
The R58 visor is wider, thicker (0.300mm instead of 0.175mm in PC), with a new attachment system for stability and a strap to fix it to the head. The new material is anti-fog PET.
The R4 visor is thicker (0.300mm instead of 0.175mm) and made of anti-fog PET. These changes improve the products without altering their lightweight and practical characteristics, allowing us to sell compliant products.
Changes shown in the attached photos do not affect the use of spare parts with previously purchased frames thanks to specific holes in the visors, providing greater stability.
Despite significant economic and organizational efforts, we have decided to maintain the prices presented in the current price list. It is important to specify that old models are no longer sellable as PPE or medical devices due to the end of INAIL validation but only as generic visors/glasses without certified protective properties.
